A lot of people thought that Marcus Nasty’s lil bro would go the way of other grime turned popstars such as Chipmunk and Tinchy, especially with the commercially minded single with Mz Bratt. But with this mixtape Grim proves that his roots still lie in the grime scene.
There are only 7 tracks on this set which makes it more of an EP than a mixtape but there are some hard tracks! Production comes via JME, Dot Rotten, Danny Weed and Danjah with features from Maxsta and newcomers Stelf, Shrimpos, Narst. Like the cover remake of the Lil Wayne mixtape as well, nice little touch.
All in all a good tape from Grim and ill be interested to see where he goes with the album.
