Brand new site news!!

Over the next few months you’ll see a lot of changes to improve the website, we’re not going to tell you exactly what they are now but you’ll definitely hear about them when they come to effect. The first is the brand new DAM player,you’ve probably noticed it already if you’ve played any mixtapes on the site in the last few days, but you may not know about all the new features.

First of all its now gapless, which means as one track finishes there will be no gap before the next track starts playing, so you can listen to mixtapes without no interruptions. You’ll also notice it looks a lot better than the last one, its now flashed based which as well as helping with how it looks it also means its easier to embed, so if you have a blog or website you can very easily embed it. In fact if you click on the ‘share’ tab on the player you’ll see the embed codes.

We have also introduced the mini player, which means if space is tight on your blog or website you can now use this feature which takes up about a quarter of the space the full player does, heres what it looks like -

We’re not finished there, because of the new tab feature we’ll be able to add little bits and pieces to continually improve the player. The first improvement will be the adding of social networking tools, so you’ll be able to ‘like’ something on facebook or tweet about it direct from the player. This should get launched by the end of this week.
